Cheesy and Crispy Potato Cheese Balls – The Perfect Party Snack

The cheese inside the ball melts and becomes simmering, giving you a chewy texture. Spices add depth to the flavor and enhance the overall flavor. Whether eaten plain or with a dipping sauce, potato cheese balls are sure to be a hit and whet your appetite for more.
Here's a recipe for Potato Cheese Balls:
Ingredients:
- 2 medium-sized Potatoes
- 7-8 cubes of Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp Tasty Masala
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt / as per your taste
- 2 eggs
- Bread crumbs, for coating
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
- First, cook the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender and easy to pierce with a fork. This will take about 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. When the potatoes are cool enough, peel them and mash them in a large mixing bowl until there are no lumps.
- Mix salt, Chilli flakes, Tasty Masala and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything together until everything is well blended.
- Take a small amount of the potato mixture and roll it into a ball. Flatten the ball slightly and place a piece of cheese in the middle. Mold potato mixture around cheese, making sure cheese is completely encased. Repeat this process until all of the potato mixture is used.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl and add chilli flakes and black pepper and keep aside.
- Dip each potato ball into the beaten egg, making sure it is evenly coated. Then roll the ball until it completely covers the crumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan over medium heat. Gently drop a few potato cheese balls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. This will take about 3-4 minutes.
- Once the potato balls are cooked, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Repeat the frying process with the remaining potatoes and cheese balls.
- Serve hot potato and cheese balls as a delicious appetizer. Enjoy as is or with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy the deliciousness of crispy potato and cheese balls and cheese.
