Here's a recipe for Potato Cheese Balls:

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized Potatoes
  • 7-8 cubes of Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Tasty Masala
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt / as per your taste
  • 2 eggs
  • Bread crumbs, for coating
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. First, cook the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender and easy to pierce with a fork. This will take about 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. When the potatoes are cool enough, peel them and mash them in a large mixing bowl until there are no lumps.
  2. Mix salt, Chilli flakes, Tasty Masala and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything together until everything is well blended.
  3. Take a small amount of the potato mixture and roll it into a ball. Flatten the ball slightly and place a piece of cheese in the middle. Mold potato mixture around cheese, making sure cheese is completely encased. Repeat this process until all of the potato mixture is used.
  4. Beat the eggs in another bowl and add chilli flakes and black pepper and keep aside.
  5. Dip each potato ball into the beaten egg, making sure it is evenly coated. Then roll the ball until it completely covers the crumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan over medium heat. Gently drop a few potato cheese balls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. This will take about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Once the potato balls are cooked, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Repeat the frying process with the remaining potatoes and cheese balls.
